Farika, a multidisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn and Las Vegas, delves into various mediums including photography, painting, music, printmaking and light design. Originally hailing from Las Vegas, she draws inspiration from the expansive desert landscapes and the vibrant neon lights of urban environments, blending these contrasting elements into her creative vision.
Fueled by a fervent dedication to artistic expression, Farika pursued formal education in photography at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and honed her skills as an editorial photographer. Immersed in the vibrant cultural scene of the Bay Area, she curated and produced numerous high-profile events, cultivating both her entrepreneurial acumen and her passion for crafting immersive environments. Intrigued by the pulsating energy of nightlife, she ventured into DJing, promoting, and performing in diverse cities across the globe.
As a trailblazer and forward-thinker, Farika gravitated towards New York City, where she co-founded Stay Gold Gallery and Trophy Bar, assuming the roles of curator, director and talent buyer. Here, she orchestrated compelling exhibitions, events, and secured top-tier international DJ talent, leaving an indelible mark on the city's cultural landscape.
In her downtime, Farika indulges her penchant for antiquing and oversees the management of her Airbnb rental properties, constantly refining and revitalizing them to offer unique experiences to guests.
